Edward Brown, 1984, Bethune-Cookman, FBHS Head Football Coach and Mathematics Teacher.
Daniel King, 2001, Place Kicker who set a school record on September 1, 2000 of 48 yards, Bethune-Cookman playing football, (on the team that won the 2002 MEAC Championship) and track, roofer and trucker.
Jean L. "Pit" LeBrun, 1992, Cornerback/Strong Safety, Defensive Back of the Year 1991-1992, Defensive player of the year, team captain and News Leader All-County Defensive Player of the year 1992. December 26, 1994 shortly before his 21st birthday, was taken from us in an automobile accident.
Leonard L. Peterson, 1977, Florida A&M, Running Back/Wide Receiver/Defensive Back, over twenty years of coaching Pirate Football, Basketball, Elm Street Little League (girls and boys) and PAL at the Peck Center, employed by Jefferson Smurfit.
Schad Freeman, 1994, Fullback/Linebacker/Defensive End, Middle Georgia and Valdosta State, Played Semi-Pro Football for Jacksonville Tomcats and the Florida Firecats, Motivational Speaker at Pop Warner Football, Business Owner of Stay'n Country Ranch.
Rick Stockstill, 1977, Quarterback, All-Conference and All-State team, FSU - leading the Seminoles to two bowl games, Offensive Coordinator at Clemson.
Tommy Shave, 1955, Halfback/Punter, Senior year scored 20 touchdowns and rushed for 2,000 yards and averaged 50-60 yards a kick. Awarded the Tallahassee Quarterback Club's inaugural award as the Northeast Conference's most valuable player of the year, University of Georgia.
Emmitt Coakley, Peck Class of 1950, Tackle - Co-Captain, Bethune-Cookman, Retired from Principal of West Nssau High School.
Barry Rice, 1966, Middle-Linebacker and Most Valuable Player, All Conference, FSU, Director of National Accounts for Opryland Hospitality Group in Nashville, Tenn.
Beryl Rice, 1966, Outside Linebacker, best all around athlete and Team Captain, All Conference, FSU, Food and Beverage Manager for a hotel management company based out of Atlanta.
Terrence Flagler, 1982, Tailback, set more than a dozen school records and was a two-time scoring leader in the conference. During his senior season, set a state record for rushing yards in one game when he ran the ball 34 times for 408 yards and seven touchdowns. High School All American in 1981. Clemson. Drafted in the first round by the San Francisco 49ers collecting two Super Bowl Rings.
Bill Leeper, 1971, Wing Back/Safety/Kick Returner. Junior season received the Golden Helmet Award. All conference. Drafted by the NY Mets for Baseball. Pop Warner Commisioner and a Lieutenant in the Florida Highway Patrol.
Ronald Veal, 1987, Quarterback. Florida Times-Union Super 24 pick and Gator Bait magazine placed him on its Hot 100 list of college prospects. Arizona, where he was named Sporting News freshman of the year. Played football in the Canadian Football League.
Marion "BULL" York, 1950, Fullback. Member of the legendary 1949 Pirate squad, the only team to complete an undefeated season, 11-0. University of Florida.
O'Neal Tyler, 1971, Middle-Linebacker. Tri-captain of the 1970 football team, won the district championship before losing heartbreaker in the state playoffs on a last-minute touchdown. All Conference and Most Valuable Pirate athlete.
Darrell Benner, 1972, Quarterback/Kicker/Punter. All-Conference and All-Region selection his Junior and Senior years. The first player selected to compete in the Florida All-Star Football Game.
Larry Wesley, 1953, All around athlete. All-State Football Team. University of Florida, team MVP in 1956. Drafted in the fourth round by the NY Giants.
Johnathan "Moo Moo" Taylor, 2003, Offensive Lineman/Defensive Lineman, Florida International University.
Jeff Whitaker, 1977, Safety, All Conference, 99 yard interception return for a TD (School Record), University of Florida, Served as Chairman of Deacons First Baptist Church and for McArthur Family YMCA, Served as President for Fernandina Kiwanis, Currently Co-Owner of Robinson Jewelry Co.
Jamel Autry, 2006 graduate signed with the University of Florida - National Championship Gators in August 2007
Terrell Dallas, 2008 graduate signed with the Citadel
Vince Salucci, 2008 graduate signed with Beloit University
