www.fbhspirates.com DISCUSSION: Meeting Called to order by President Todd Willis @ 6:05 p.m. Reading of the last meeting minutes was waived, as they are available online. Budget: Melissa Hall noted that we are still on budget and we are still receiving some monies from seat / ticket sales and ads. Pregame meal: JV will be Domino’s possibly. Lisa Henn is looking into this and is distributing flyers to JV parents for donations and help, etc. Suzanne made comment about Chik-Fil-A as possible dinner option as they had offered to help out. Lisa will need some help serving this meal. Eric Totzke said that he would help with this. Lisa Henn to provide Gatorade. Varsity Game Pregame Meal: Subway will be served either at the school or on the bus to Keystone Heights. Vicki Somora to pick up Subway and Gatorade before 3:30 for 7:30 game start. Dede Mitchell noted that Journey Church has offered to supply a meal. Todd suggested that this be the Yulee game due to time frame, etc. Todd made comment about looking into other avenues also that might be able to supply pregame meals like Applebee’s? Spirit Table Sales: Lori Venerdi noted that sales have been good. Roy Byrd made suggestion about having JV parents cover Varsity games and Varsity parents cover JV games. This will be looked into further. Fire Extinguisher “Smoke Enterance”: Tom Foley offered to pay for next game and Dale made comment that the cost will only be $28/game not $45. Dale also made comment about supplying this too if needed. QB Seats and Parking: Suzanne noted that there were lots of compliments from our “Senior” members per Suzanne. Help Needed: Roy Byrd requests help every Wednesday @ 4pm to paint the field except during rain. Cocoa Beach Game Bus: The cost for a parent bus for this game will be $1550. It will be leaving @ 2:30 from school and will return at 2:30 am Saturday morning. The thought of having lots of parents/fans in the stand was the main focus and Todd put out possibility of QB Club covering the overages if could not get enough riders. Carole made motion to cover this and John Spence seconds this motion. The cost will $35/person and all monies will have to be paid in advance and no refunds. So far 25 people have committed. No additional comments. The meeting was adjourned at 6:40 pm.
